muse on the artful life and what’s worthwhile.
We discussed the Italian film, The Great Beauty,
a work that runs on impressions and associations,
more akin to how we actually experience life.
It walks the edge of meaning and absurdity, and explores finding the sublime i
n the comedy of life, punctuated by dreamy, striking imagery of Rome,
an in-between place itself
